Doctor - The Bad and Good News

A man went back to his doctor to get the results of tests he had done a week earlier. The doctor told him he had some good news and some bad news.



"Okay, what's the good news?" asked the patient.



The doctor replied, "You have 24 hours to live."



The patient gasped and said, "Oh, my gosh! If that's the good news, what could possibly be the bad news?"



The doctor said, "The bad news is that I should have told you yesterday."
