Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and SERVEROK SOFTWARE, which runs the FreeMarriage.com website and the FreeMarriage app for Android. They apply to both, since the website and the app share the same account. By creating a profile or using FreeMarriage, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

What FreeMarriage Is

FreeMarriage is a matrimonial service: members create a profile describing themselves and the partner they are looking for, search other profiles, and send interests and messages. Creating a profile, searching and messaging are free. The website and app show advertising. If we offer optional paid extras in the future, we will show you the price and what you get before you pay, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Who Can Join

  • You must be 18 or older, and old enough to marry under the law where you live.
  • You must be looking for a marriage or a long-term partner, for yourself or, with their consent, for a family member.
  • You may have only one profile for each person. Do not create a profile for someone without their permission.
  • You may not join if we have removed one of your profiles before.

Your Account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done from your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

Your Profile and Photos

  • Everything in your profile must be true and about you (or the family member the profile is for), including your age, marital status, religion and photos.
  • Upload only photos of yourself that you have the right to share. No nudity, sexual content, or photos of children on their own.
  • Do not put phone numbers, email addresses or links in your profile text. Share contact details privately with members you trust.
  • Our team reviews new profiles, photos and identity documents before other members see them, and may edit or refuse anything that breaks these terms.

You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to show it on FreeMarriage, and to store, copy and resize it as needed to run the service, for as long as it stays on your profile.

How You Must Treat Other Members

You must not:

  • harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone
  • ask for or send money, or promote any business, scheme or website
  • send spam or the same message to many members
  • pretend to be someone else, or create fake profiles
  • collect other members' details, or copy profiles or photos off FreeMarriage
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on the website or app
  • do anything that sexually exploits or endangers children; see our Child Safety Standards
  • break any law

If a member breaks these rules, please use Report Profile on their profile or contact us. Read our Safety Tips before meeting anyone, and never send money to someone you met online.

Suspending and Removing Profiles

We may hide, suspend or remove a profile, or refuse service, if it breaks these terms, if we believe it is fake or harmful to other members, or if the law requires it. You can stop using FreeMarriage and delete your account at any time.

Meeting Other Members

We review profiles for spam, fake details and abuse, and a Verified badge means a member's identity document was checked. Even so, we cannot confirm everything members say about themselves, and we do not run background checks. You are responsible for your own decisions about the people you contact and meet, and families should make their own enquiries before any marriage.

The Service

We work to keep FreeMarriage running and safe, but it is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable. We may change, add or remove features. If we end the service, we will tell members in advance where we can.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, SERVEROK SOFTWARE is not liable for loss or damage caused by other members' conduct, by the content they post, or by interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Changes to These Terms

We will update this page when these terms change. If a change is important, we will tell members by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use FreeMarriage after that means you accept the new terms.
